We went to London
Today we went to ENYAN (English National Youth Arts Network) confrence in London city hall. Douglas, Zac, Elliot, Chris and I had the pleasure of going to London on a day trip. We were there to shed light on what we’ve been doing for Folkestone Film Factory and to learn how to intergrate young people like ourselves into arts and culture.
Various artists, speakers and youth workers came to the conference and exchanged information with us on what they do, how they help with the community and how this effects young people. It was quite interesting to learn of all the different things there are for young people. No one can say there is nothing to do because its there you just have to reach out and find it.
With various talks and speeches and exciting activities it helped us to understand how we can place young people at the centre of art and culture.
We also met another group exactly like us called Tiger Monkey and it was quite interesting to watch them because they were filming the event. We must look like that to the public it was quite fun to exchange expirences with them.
I personally have met alot of interesting people today and had alot of fun and it has been a great experince for me so tahnkyou to everyone staff and everyone who atteneded
We also had to speak about our expeirneces so next update will be our speeches will probably tell you abit more about press gang.
